South-Indian food lovers had to travel several miles outside of the Western New York region to discover authentic South-Indian Chettinad delicacies. We felt compelled to bridge this gap in the best interest of not just the Indian community – in fact, we also wanted to create an opportunity for other foodies in this region to experience the magic of authentic Chettinad flavors.
Fast-forward to the present day, we feel ecstatic having launched the first ever South-Indian Chettinad restaurant in the Western New York region!
We cook with our hearts. We serve with love. Come, and experience this homestyle cooking devoid of any chemical preservatives, food colors, MSG, artificial flavors, or anything else of that sort – our assurance to you is our superhigh quality Chettinad food that your taste buds will relish. Donʼt take our word. Taste it and see for yourself!
Youʼre welcome 😉
I have been there 4-5 times now. The service was not up to mark earlier and you had to wait and sit at the table and nobody came over to ask for the order till 5-10 minutes or serve any water. This has gradually gotten better with more prompt service. The food is authentic and great and I guess that is why people keep coming back. Affordable prices for most dishes - must try - chettinad chicken
divij pasrijaExcellent food. The spicy cauliflower was amazing (and vegan!) and I loved the samosas. I see a lot of other things on the menu that might be vegan too. I’m ordering takeout today to share with my husband and I hope it doesn’t let me down! Service in the restaurant was a little inattentive - even though I was the only one there - and the water was warm, but nbd.
Lacy ChristI wasn't sure what to expect here. I was hoping there would be a lunch buffet, but there was not. Overall, food was delicious! They have a wide variety of items to choose from. The atmosphere is clean, nice, and quiet. The waiter we had was not on his game at all, we ordered an appetizer and did not receive it (at least we weren't charged), he delivered our food to the wrong table, and we had to flag him down to get more drinks. My biggest complaint is the water they provide was not cold, and they carry no soda like Coke, Pepsi, etc.
Kara Morhous SpothSo, we planned for dinner on Thanksgiving day after visiting Niagara falls. It's almost 8:30pm and there is no nearby restaurant open due to the holiday. So we found this and went to Nellai banana leaf. Honestly, the best restaurant I've ever been to in the East coast. I'm not exaggerating (there might be others too, but I haven't been to one like this) the food quality is damn good. It's authentic south Indian and the people really took good care of us as we were the last people to dine there, they didn't ask us to leave or anything even after close time. Affordable and honest pricing and amazing quality♥️. Would really go there if I visit Buffalo again. I got good vegetarian options for being a chettinad restaurant. (5/5)
